It seems our commissioners are taking more and more of our public county meetings into "executive session". Where does it stop?
Just what does constitute "public right to know"?
Our CC chairman was very public with saying the commissioners were discussing public business in executive session.
Who makes the call and how do we know it is legitimate?
Maybe it is time that the citizens of the county protest this behavior by complaining to the state? Maybe it is long past time that our commissioner meetings are
broadcast on local television so more of us can see just what does go on in those meetings? We certainly cannot read about them in our local newspaper as
we all know that what is printed is a far cry from what really happened don't we?
After all, our commissioners should have nothing to hide should they?

the county is broke, the commissioners don't want anybody to know it
Done some checking, it was about visiting hours at the jail. Hull probably thought he had the Sheriff on something so wanted to keep it quiet untill they could drop the bomb. He will never learn, I so wish someone in his district would get wild and go after him. I know someone wanted to do it before and couldnt get it going. But people know what a joke he is on boards and hes been on all of them. I'm glad I have one of the new commissioners representing me. The 3 amingos are to dumb to even know open meeting laws and Hull of all of them should hes been there forever!!!!! He tries to blame the Sheriff for county being broke when Sheriff came in when it was all but done and is making it work. Now if they would just leave him and Chad alone and let them do it. Jim
what the heck is an amingo? i know what an amigo is, but amingo?
I talked to the lady in question. Its being taken care of.
Hull will never learn. When are people going to relize this. Cameron will take care of the 3 or we will. Should this time but will give them one chance to get it right. But they best (Dawn too)realize we are serious and not going to put up with any more violations of the Open Meeting laws. Going in to executive to hide something about visiting and equipment at the jail won't work. Lay off trying to nail the Sheriff and Jail Administrator you 3. 99.9% of us appreciate them. Jim
Why is there not more people in outrage on here? I know Jim speaks for many of us but get with it and let these dipsticks know how we feel. They can't do any thing to you and I do know business people will get pick on so we will continue to represent you as we have in past. Thanks for all the phone calls and support.
The lady is going to Pierre this week for meetings. She will find out what our best course of action is against the commissioners as far as not following open meeting laws. Its time they learn they are not all powerful. Jim
You go girl!!!!! We are behind you. Get what ever you can and run the dipsticks out of office!!!!!!1
Any one go to Goverment days? Guess Hull was a hoot. Kids say he whined about how much work he did. They thought it should be a treat to get voted in and trusted to run the county. They were not impressed. My son was there and he tought all was good besides Hull complaining.
Wonder what commissioner was out snooping around at other agencies again. Whos done it before???? Horton of course!!!! When is he going to learn law enforcement across the stadte don't loke or respect the 3 Roberts Co commissioners because of how the have treated and continue to treat the Sheriff. They beleive as a lot of us do that George and Zimpel are ok. You lose again Horton!!!!! Jim
The county is broke?? They have a published budget each year which is balanced so what happened?? Same tax income, which they know of in advance. What have they over spent on? Sure would be nice if our famous auditor would give us, the taxpaying voters, an up date on what has been any unexpected expense. Our jail is turnig a profit so what other excuses do they have?
