The Watertown Public Opinion has an informative article today regarding changes offered by our new States Attorney that warrants reading. The link for this is below:

Some ideas that were brought up by Cameron were a Teen Court and changes in methods for DUI handling, among others. These seem to be worthy of more attention as they would most likely alleviate the overloaded RC court system and help the RC budget as well as being beneficial to those charged.
Good ideas Kerry! We need changes here in RC and it sounds like you have some good ones.
The story also gives a rundown on the newest Grab Game by Kay for that RC county dollar she can no longer call hers. We applaud those commissioners for standing firm on this issue.
Another good article by Joe O'Sullivan of course. It seems we get more RC news brought to us by the Opinion than our own local newspaper.

I read it. What a breath of fresh air Cameron is. Good ideas. Thank God they stopped Kay from getting any more county monies. I don't beleive she'll get that many court appointed ones. Look how she treated natives and other people her and her co-horts did'nt like. We don't need that and I hope our Judges are smart enough to see it. Of courde people can ask for a different one. She did'nt get the City Attorney job she wanted either. She should get the message Sisseton and the county have had enough of her. Her and her actions cooked her goose around here. She thought she was in forever because of who her buddies are. Now she knows her and buddies don't run Roberts County the people do!!!!!
Sounds like we got a states attorney ready to make some positive changes and save money!!! What a differende, no comparrison with the old one. I would have gave the commissioner from my district a piece of my mind had they gave Kay the PD job. Just voted for him last election and I would have been disapointed in him. Thank you Roger George for making a fine decision.
I bet Cameron will work with the Sheriffs office also and not against it. Also know he will give sound advice to the commissionerd rather than make them all look dumb as Kay did with her own agenda. It will take Roberts county awhile to heal from her antics.
YEA Cameron!!!!! Finally some fair lawering in Roberts County. We know he is not Racist as Kay was. We will now see a positive change and saving of public funds. What a concept. Work for the people of Roberts County. We now have a chance to improve.
wasn't Cameron the states attorney prior to Kay's reign of terror? what was the opinion of him then?
He was ok. He made some mistakes but took reponsabillity for them and certainly learned from them. He was fair and worked for the people and didnt spend money foolishly as she did. He has a good reputation in Pierre at the Attorney Generals off ice and others so that says alot.
Teen court works very well where I came from. Teens are tough on their peers, Cameron has some good ideas. Now if he can keep the commiss on a short leash!!!! I beleive he will.
Our local paper is not going to print anything with out Hulls and Dawns appoval. Hull spends alot of time at Harleys. Birds of a feather!!!!!!
Some one posted that the commissioners should monitor ourt per Nelson Padilla. Well guess what? Horton has sit in on court. Do they think they can tell Flemmer and Anderson what to do and how many court appointed attorneys they can appoint? I cant beleive the arrogance of some of these dipsticks(I saw someone called those 3 that and found it very approperate) I dare one of them to tell one of the judges what to do!!!!!! Jim
