Drainage Issues in County

We hear the Commissioners are considering more drainage, even after they promised MN officials they would not allow additional drainage into the Red River Basin.  At least 3 or 4 more major drainage projects are on next week's agenda, with most of the water going into the RRV basin (via the residents over in Brown's Valley of course).

Are any of these people engineers?  Have they got any idea what they are doing and how it will affect flooding issues all the way to Winnipeg and beyond?

This is a no brainer. Absolutly not !!!! There is a petition going around to stop it. Please sign it. Land owners don't want it and its their land to do with what they want not the commissioners!!!!

I heard there were more drainage applications being handed in for this "project". We might need some bridges if this keeps up!

Heard the meeting was crowded and loud. They "tabled" a decision though pending more info. In other words, they will approve the drainage when nobody is around to object, business as usual huh?

Funny from commiss meeting on drainage. Horton argued with a lady landowener what way her water flowed. Now this family has farmed it for years but he was sure he knew more and would'nt shut up. DUMBER THAN A ROCK THIS MAN!!!!!
