I have the final election totals etc so will post them for those who haven't seen them already:
Tribal Elections:
Chairman: Michael Selvage was re-elected
Vice-Chairman: Garryl Rousseau
Secretary: Delbert Hopkins
Now for the Roberts County Elections:
States Attorney: Kerry Cameron
Cameron got 67.22% or 2,976 votes and Kay Nickolas got 32.78% or 1,451 votes
County Commission District 2: Tim Zempel
Chairman/Incumbent Louis Voeltz got 44.43% or 459 votes and Tim Zempel got 55.57% or 574 votes
County Commission District 4: Roger George
Roger George got 73.63% or 712 votes and Larry Wanous got 26.37% or 255 votes
Hopefully this is a step in the right direction. We still need to focus on the remaining incumbent commissioners and
vote them out next election if they insist on "business as usual"
Have you noticed that our polls reflected the actual outcome of this election fairly accurately? I will leave them up for another week before removing them to make it easier to navigate all we have to offer here for you.

Don't forget we need to get the auditor and her husband out of the courthouse next election!!!!!! Her husband was behind 3/4 of the problems for Vince and Chad as was Dawn. Hull and Buck then Horton conspired with them with Kays help.
Wouldn't it have been nice if there was a local radio station that would have actually reported the results on election night? I listened until 11 pm to a certain FM station and they didn't give ANY election results. What a joke!
I am glad you put the results up, or I still wouldn't know the actual numbers. This blog is the ONLY voice for people in this county!
What a great Election. Yes Kay is out now the other woman(Dawn) needs to go. Her and husband do every thing behind peoples backs. Hull is always up here with Duane, they go back in room and cook up their stratigy. She thinks we all at gourt house back her. WRONG, we back the Sheriff and his Staff. The rest will learn that.
Yes Kay is gone. Now we will get fair due process in court. We did before when Cameron was in. Big mistake we made beleiving Kay would be good. She cost us taxpayers mega bucks with her shenaigans. And the trouble she caused the Sheriffs Dept. is unexcusable. Now we need to get the rest of the trouble makers. Sattlers,Hull,Horton and Roger N.
Does anybody know this Zempel and how he will be as a commissioner? Has he any county or political experiance? Does he think for himself and stand for whats right or a follower who likes power and don't care how he gets it? Please anybody advise. Thank you

I figure ANYONE has to be better than Voeltz was. Even if this Zempel guy is new to government, at least nobody "owns" him.....yet.
Guess we will have to wait and see how this plays out?
I want to see how George does. He was a good county employee and any body would be better than Wanous!!!!! Racist he is!!!!
To the court house employee who responded. I know most of you and can only try to assure you that we, the taxpaying voters, understand your delicate position and appreciate your limits in expressing your opinions. Having said that I only hope you will hang in-there until we can get the correct people elected to these positions.
People with interegty and who care about Roberts Co. and good, fair government for all. I can only say "Two more years" then stand by!!!
