Chuck has done it again! A great article is on the SOTA website. Read it and weep for Roberts County.
The 3 Amigos are upholding their reputations to be sure. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can rid
our county of these 3 commissioner impersonators and their shenannigans and possibly reclaim our dignity?
This is beyond absurd and borders on insane......
Thanks to Chuck for telling us like it is.

Amen Great Editorial. Do you know it was picked up and put in 2 other papers at least. State,County and City goverment are right at the forfront now as to Violations of open meeting laws, rules and integrity. As someone said in other headline. In Roberts County those 3 especially the 2 H's don't know how to spell the word Integrity!!!!!! Let alone practice it.
Dipsticks fits perfectly!!!!! I'm with Administrator, how do we get these 3 out???? Roperts county is going down hill fast in integrity and honesty.
Having just read and reread Chuck's editorial I can only come to the same conclusion@DIPSTICKS !! It is so very strange to me that the three amigos can't comprehend that Vince and Chad, despite all working conditions and CC harasment, are doing a superior job and saving us taxpayers money and instead of praise for a job well done only get more harassment. We have to put up with their BS two more years but we, the taxpaying voters, will find some competent people to replace them as well as another elected county official or two. Great job CXhuck Flora !! In the meantime can someone put a muzzle on Horton? Most people shoot skunks and rapid dogs.
WOW way to go Chuck, that was great. Sure glad you keep us informed of whats going on. Its for sure our other local paper wouldnt print anything that looked bad for the commiss as hes a Hull fan. You see Hull come out of there quite often. You to Administrator Thanks for keeping us informed.
Lets all flood the commiss meetings and see what he does!!!! We should be going when we can and put these jerks in their place. They work for us the taxpayers and many of us are not happy. We want our sheriff left alone as well as Chad. They are doing a great job. Who is Horton that he wanted the maintenance man to check on Sheriffs cars. And Hull wants it logged???? Underhanded fools. They want a rat in the Sheriffs department to report to them. How stupid.
I found this on Madison, SD's blog, http://madvilletimes.blogspot.com
All Local (or Close Enough): Sisseton Communities Meeting Place Blog
Click click click—my morning Web surfing leads me to the Sisseton Communities Meeting Place, a fun local blog from our neighbors in northeast South Dakota. I found it through a link on the Watertown Public Opinion's blogroll... hey! Jon Hunter! How come you haven't linked me back yet on the Madison Daily Leader site?
SCMP (anyone calling it Scamp yet?) is dedicated to discussing Roberts County, local government, schools, the jail, and other matters of import to the 10,000 hardy residents of the Sissteon-Peever metroplex. And Todd Epp thinks there's nothing to write about—there's always local news! And SCMP goes looking for it.
On the good side, SCMP is following the collaborative community journalism model, posting a few details, asking questions, and getting more background from commenters. For example, a post last Friday asked about a possible shooting incident folks were talking about. Commenters quickly explained that the incident was actually a police training exercise (though if the police train the way they drive, Sisseton folks might still be jittery). The blog also offers a host of links to local resources: local media, local reservation media (I think in the big city they'd call that alternative media) local schools, even the Roberts County Freecycle group (Discover the Unexpected™, indeed!). Local, local, local—I likey, likey, likey.
On the bad side, the conversation is mostly anonymous. Even the "Administrator" offers no personally identifiable information (though that toe looks suspiciously like South Dacola's Scott Ehrisman). Perhaps the locals know perfectly well who is producing the blog, and perhaps commenters living in the midst of mistrust between Indians and white folks can make a stronger case for wanting to keep their identities private. Nonetheless, real community discussion that brings folks together requires names and faces. I hope the SCMP administrator and his commenters will consider taking that step toward openness and authenticity. Real names and faces only make your words and your community stronger.
On the whole, I applaud this effort at community discourse and watchdoggery. Such online conversation may get ugly sometimes, but even the ugly stuff isn't anything folks aren't already thinking and whispering to each other. If something's amiss in your community, you might as well get it out in the open where everyone can facce it and maybe fix it. Keep up the conversation, Sisseton and neighbors!
We're getting famous!
Thanks to the previous poster for letting us know about the blurb.
and of course I will sign this....anonymously.....
Well the one Dipstick is still at it. Horton that is. Still wanting the mantenance man to heck Sheriffs cars. This jerk is set on micro managing the Sheriffs Department. He wii not listen to any one even the States attorney telling him. Peever residents get him out of there.
Hey Doger is now top Dipstick!!!! He is not the friend of the farmer we thought he was. At least we knew Horton was dumb going in and we have learned in the last 2 yrs what Hull is all about which is'nt good but we thought Roger had dome farmimg brains. WRONG!!!! He's as stupid as the other two!!!
