We heard about a hunting party north of Sisseton made up of the Hull family (as in our CC) wherein threats were made by the Hulls on Thanksgiving eve.
Seems the landowner came upon a dozen or so hunters on his posted land and stopped to check them out as nobody had asked his permission to hunt there. One of the Hulls told the landowner that if the owner didn't leave that he (Hull) would shoot him. The landowner called the game warden to report the incident. We haven't heard what happened or if charges will be made.
Seems to me that is below the minimum what the South Dakota Hunting Handbook dictates is good relations with landowners. It might even lean more towards a criminal complaint. This is pretty serious stuff!
But then we knew our Commissioner already figured he owned the whole county, didn't we? There ought to be an IQ test before a hunting license is issued. I can only say "Don't take your guns to town Son; leave your guns at home."

Hunting regulations booklet states "No person may hunt or trap any species of game on private land without permission from owner or lessee ". Land does not have to be posted, period. It also states "If a person is convicted of knowingly trespassing the court shall revoke the person's hunting or trapping privilege for one year" How plain can that be? Threats or no threats, they are in violation and ALL in the party are guilty. Maybe everyone should call Dean Schultz.

I gan't beleive all the Hulls think they are above the law. I know Glen does but this is ridiculous!! Hope land owner goes after them.

Glen Hull is always saying how much he and his brother have done for the community and no one appreciates it. Guess they now think they don't have to obey laws. They did it for their own glory and thats not the way to give. You give and expect nothing in return and they don't know how to do this.
Chris Hull works for the Department of Game Fish and Parks.

maybe before we jump to blind conclusions, we should find out the facts first. i know the majority of the county doesn't like glen hull, but i believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
That would only be if we didn't trust the Administrator. Any thing and every thing has been on blogs at one time or the other. I will wait and see how the Hull thing plays out before I commett. If I sent Admin a email I would want them to have mine so they could answer.
This is my reply to the anonymous poster of yesterday: You know who you are, in fact most of us can figure out who you are even though you didn't have the guts to sign your abusive threats.
Anyone wanting to verify this thread just check with the Game Warden, Dean Schultz. 698-3852 He will be able to supply names, dates etc.

I just find it odd, how the anonymous post really got defensive when it came to Glenn Hull and of course didn't sign there name. I and my husband have no problem letting people know where we stand. I could care less who's doing what and who's bashing who. My husband's been put through the ringer and has had worse things said about him. Connie is a fine person and we trust her, she has the courage and conviction to give people a voice that otherwise would not be able to express themselves. She cares about this county and wants to help change it and we have a great start on doing just that. You are not going to dcare snyone. And who are you to talk you are trying to slander her. Well I did find out Glen Hull was not involed in this but his brother who he says has done so much for the community was the top culprut. Doesn't surprise me. He has a temper and is a know it all and definitly thinks hes above the law. We'll see if hes charged or if its sweep under the rug by the states attorney whick could well be as shes one of group that the Hull's are in with. Interesty to watch outcome.
If at all possible please post the name of the property owner and any other information available. Know you are innocent until proven guilty but would really like to know more details so that we can follow and see the outcome of of any charges that might be filed by the local conservation officer.

Has Hull been charged???? I for onr do not think Kay will do it. Its one of hers, and she has a track record of this kind of thing. Her and the Hulls are in the Sattler, Horton and that group. Besides shes going out so what does she care!!!!
Please people don't be afaid to post. Who ever was theatning is nuts. They can not get our ip's or names. Administrator has the site secure. Any one heard any more about charges being brought? Lets flood the Sheriffs office and game warden with calls about this. Just because his name is Hull he should not get away with it. sheriff & conservation officer have the facts, not rumor or water-downed story, but true facts. Now we wait to see if there is "justice for all" or only some.
Sheriff, Game Warden and/or DCI can turn over a charge to states attorney but she has to charge. Will Kay charge a Hull????? Remaind to be seen.
Hopefully the sheriff won't turn in any rpt. until Kay is out of office.
Smart idea, at least we would have a states attorney who would charge a Hull if proven to be valid.
I hear there are going to be charges. I'm trying to validate to make double sure its not a rumor.
